The Neapolitan Mastiff can be traced back to dog breeds in Ancient Rome which were used as war dogs and guards. The breed as we know it today was developed in Italy around the 1950s.
The Neapolitan Mastiff is a very large dog with characteristically wrinkled and folded skin. They look ferocious and can be excellent guard dogs. They are also loving and affectionate dogs who make for great pets as long as you have plenty of space.
The Neapolitan Mastiff can be prone to obesity since they often like to lounge around. The dog needs to be trained and groomed well.
The Newfoundland is a large dog related to the Labrador breed. This dog can be traced back to Newfoundland in Canada, where it was bred to work with fishermen. Newfoundlands are strong and hardworking and can make keen watchdogs as well.
They are known to be extremely loving, calm, and gentle and are great pets to have if you have children or other animals in the home. Though they are reasonably easy to train, they shed a lot of hair and require grooming and cleaning.
3. Norfolk Terrier
Like all other terriers, Norfolk Terriers are agile and keen hunters. The Norfolk Terrier is the smallest breed out of all the terriers and has an average height of about ten inches.
The Norfolk terrier loves human companionship and will be curious about everything you are doing! They are easy to train and a versatile pet to have, no matter how much space you have available.
